Alejandra García Pérez is a graphic designer and illustrator. Her aim is to produce pieces that are fun and not as serious while still keeping a good design and layout to create balance. With her diverse skill set, she manages to combine both, illustration and graphic design, to create balanced, yet fun, pieces.
The use of repetition and detail is a constant technique in her illustrations, lines are commonly used to create textures on hair or clothing. Modifications in the subject matter that is being illustrated is her main objective to suit her own style and vision. She is currently trying to expand her techniques and abilities by exploring the world of comics and different types of printing such as offset, risograph and letterpress.
Alejandra graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in the Spring of 2017 and is now working as a freelance Graphic Designer in Monterrey, Mexico.
